I lied

I know I said I was going to cut more wall vinyl and also decorate the big mirror in my living room next...I LIED!  Instead I made a tile for my future MIL who is a nurse at Karmanos.  They took really great care of a friend of mine recently, and I wanted to say thanks. 

Write on the Walls

So I've decided it's time to put some vinyl on the walls around the house.  Here's the first project, it's abovethe French doors that lead into my craft room.  My daughter was my spotter, and she didn't do such a good job...it's not exactly centered.  Guess that's what I get for asking the teenager to pretend she cares about what I'm doing, lol.  Of course, she did buy me new 12x24 Cricut mats for Christmas, so she must be paying some attention. 

Next up, I'm going to do the HUGE mirror hanging above the fireplace.  I'll post pics as soon as they're done.  I love that I can cut whatever I want in the size that fits my space. 

Altered Frame

You can put vinyl just about anywhere.  Here's a frame I bought at J's and added some vinyl to (don't mind the pictures, we plan to take some on Christmas Eve...it's a gift for my parents).  It says, "Having somewhere to go is HOME, Having someone to love is a FAMILY, Having both is a BLESSING".

Floating Frame

Here's a last minute gift I just whipped up.  Is it wrong to give one to BOTH my sisters???  Sorry about the picture quality (and fingerprints).

Allicat's Blanket

Here's a blanket (for my most favorite God daughter) that I painted after cutting the stencil out of vinyl.  Not my best work, but a noble first try.  My daughter and I are working on blankets for her friends at the moment.
